It's obvious you don't read or listen...you're #####ing about a 7 mi difference like you posted...don't try and think that you're going to fool anyone...they don't take rookies out of school for this program so therefore the drivers are more likely than not to be aware of the mileage difference...

You keep trying to put words in my mouth and frankly people who do that I have some choice description of people like that...I've been sitting here watching what you post for the last several months and simply put your atititde has gone south..

you can spin it however you want I know what I see and I could care less what you say...

I Have never once said Sni was was without issues and you call me a cheerleader???...why is that because I won't kiss your behind and go along with your garbage...you can't prove I've said Sni has no problems...there's a difference between giving advice to ics or future ics on this program and making yourself look like a whiner...for whatever reason you just have completely changed over the last several months and it's obvious..we all have our issues here and such but like I stated before., you don't like it here..take your truck somewhere else...this has gotten ridiculous.

How about you make me stop posting.

You're in a thread I started if you don't care then why are you responding.

6 months as a company driver with SNI is all the time SNI requires. That's a rookie.

I read just fine and listen too.

Not sure why you're so adamant about what I post but because you care so much I'll definitely continue.

    Thanks for following.

6 months experience for the program is such a joke. If demand was high and they had a hiring freeze for the program why would they keep such a low requirement for experience?

You'd think if there was such a demand for the program they would raise the hiring standards so clueless noobs wouldn't screw up and piss off customers.

It would appear the bottom line is they want dummies to sign a lease, put a down payment down, then repossess the truck. When there was no down payment they had incentive to bring on someone that could make payments. Now if they get money up front they have incentive to repossess and get a new down payment again

Seen this on fb. Ic who's a mon-fri driver booked load thinking he can delv because of SNI miles but then realized he can't because the load was actually longer then expected. So he was asking for SNI ic if someone could delv it for him so he doesn't miss home Time. Anybody in this business will realize that there is usually a 10%-15% miliage different. Been that way for decades it's called household movers guide miliage. Big groups are trying to change miliage pay to hourly pay. But I don't see that happen in my life time. As it currently sits we aren't under the normal labor laws.

My company is the same way. Big reason I quit training. Half of my students had no business being behind the wheel.

In my opinion the industry sells truck driving as a job.

In reality it's a lifestyle for most.

It would be beneficial if Schneider would use practical route miles, so the estimates would be closer. These mileages can be extremely off the farther east you go. Some of the DH's can just about double in mileage by the time a truck route is factored in.

It would be just peachy if they would at least post the customer code so we could look it up and get the actual address to address miles. It's not often a big deal, but when running short loads, the extra miles can really kill a rate.

And for the record, I don't think DH miles are done on the zip code, or city center. I think it is to the address. Reason I say that is if you are looking at loads, there may be several loads picking up in a certain city, and the mileages are all over the map in terms of DH.

Regardless, there is no reason that with modern technology, they can give us much more exact numbers to work with. Happier contractors should be more productive contractors.

I'm not unhappy with the miles I've run or posted.

I don't even care about the DH, if the rate is worth it I'll run it if it gets me where I need to go.
