Adaptive Cruise Control - Beware!

Ok. They want to put a camera in my truck that will tell those things. Currently only tattle tale is going to far over speed limit for more than 30 seconds

 

I have 2. I own them both And they refuse to speak with anyone at my company.

 

I know.. I've been reduced to one of the despised steering wheel holders. Heck. My horn is even embarrassing.

 

Today this new system my company put in the trucks... Tattle tale dash cam... Gave me the "Speed Limit Exceeded" (which I ignored) on I-80 in western IL... I'm governed at 67. So tonight I went into where it will let me view the footage of my "incidents"... The first time the stupid thing saw the Minimum Speed of 40 and thought thats how fast I should be going... Second time it saw the 40 on a sign for the exit going to Highway 40... But it never said a thing about me doing 62 (getting passed the entire time) all through Chicago Land until just before I-65. This thing is so stupid... But I doubt its going anywhere... At least our safety guy is pretty laid back... Hope he stays that way.

Yeah no kidding... I usually feel my truck lean over from the wind coming off their hoods as they blow my doors off... But I am rarely able to catch a glimps of them... Theyre just too fast for that.

 

It’s a sad state of affairs when many new trucks have louder back beepers or turn signal clickers than the actual air horn
