Youed be suprised. A lot of campgrounds have loosened those rules because of all the truckbuses and stuff like the international XT style semi truck pickup thingys. Some id be leery of taking my semi to sure. And thats with it being an offroad truck to start with. But a lot of them are more accessable then you think..especially if you run under not for hire regs.

I subframed the whole rear of the trailer and incorporated a reciever hitch and run a equalizer. I trust it more than a pickup hitch. With my 1992 Jeep wrangler in the enclosed trailer, I go 80 mph just fine. The payload capacity on that trailer is over 5000 pounds. It weighs less than 9 dry…….is rated for 14k. I bought this particular trailer because of this and the fact that the axles are further to the rear than most. There were only 2 other models at the time that I would have trusted this (Everest and Challenger IIRC).
I have since upgraded my jeep and my RV and my enclosed has become just a storage unit for the 1992 jeep. IMG_1642.jpeg
