Hey guys,
I'm an owner operator who runs under my own authority and getting ready to add a second truck. I need advice from fellow owner operators with experience for tips on how to make the process smoother. With things such as driver wages and so on. I don't want to pay too low or too high.
I have a general idea on how I would like to do things. But I also want real input from others.
Thanks for the help.
Adding a second truck need advice for hiring a driver!!!

Find the average pay for the lanes you expect and pay it.
It won't guarantee a good driver. It will though mean you won't get 100% crappy drivers.Tombstone Thanks this. -
Ride along with them, see how they drive and treat your equipment.
