This system by far is the best to use with a small generator. It has heat also for the cold months.

the a/c unit i once had only pulled 300 watts.
as for battery weight. i don't know wh y you all think they weight so much. 10 batts probably weight as much as an apu. or less.
as for the dc to ac conversion. most truckers have at least a 2000 watt invertor. -
Everything cost 20% more power when using inverter.. Most small bats are 50 pounds....10 would weigh over 500 pounds....sent from my iphone

I dont care about the weight, if I can make a soundless battery system work, Im gunna try. If it doesnt work then generator is a sure bet.
