Adding lift axle cost $$$

I havent mounted anything. It's all on my garage floor. Right after buying it i got another truck which is much heavier than my last so i don't want to add the 450 lbs until i figure out and get around to shaving that weight of the truck.

Dont hold your breath. The inframe kit sat in my garage for almost 2 years before i finally tore the engine down. I always plan on doing these things, and get everything together for them, and when it comes down to it id rather roll around in the bed with my wife or play in the yard with the kids. Its just tough to stay motivated to go an hour to the truck when the best part of my life is right inside the house.

Anyway, ya i got a stainless steel box with all the solenoids and valves mounted inside it. Its about 8 inches tall and 10 wide. 5 inches deep. Bought it right from Hendrickson. Was actually more than the lift kit itself. Ordered it at the same time and if memory serves me correct after shipping it was just under 1200 bucks(lift kit plus the control valves and box and all the fittings, etc). The lift kit was only 400 to 450. You could save quite a bit if you just bought a couple valves and airlines. But to me it just isn't worth the time trying to figure out which valves to buy and get out to the truck only to find out i need another T fitting. the closest big parts store to where i park my truck is another hour away, the local napa carries common stuff like airline and brake shoes but when you start talking valves solenoids and uncommon brass fittings i got to go into town to fleetpride. I wanted everything ready to go so when i do finally get around to installing it in done in an afternoon instead of three days of running back and forth. Besides i just bought a bass boat this week. That's time i can spend fishing!
