It should have a block off plate where the p/steering pump goes and when you pull the pump off the other motor grab the bolts they are longer the old coe steering boxes can be found at the rebuild shops cheap from people that left boxes to be fixed and never came back to get them, some early k/w boxes will fit in holes but you have to buy the longer arm to bolt on box?

That's because people have had PS for so long, they don't know what to say to you. I can't think of a single more important invention to enable drivers, especially women, who can't physically turn a manual steered truck, able to drive. Seriously, on that old gal, I'd look into air assist. With hydraulic, you need a new steering box, mount the reservoir and pump, all the lines, I'd think air is much better choice.

I thank Air o Matic made them and is out of business.
Maybe look for a bone yard COE Freightliner and get the whole deal. New hoses and filter. Hope for the best.

Hmm, being an old timer, I never thought of that. They weren't too popular to begin with. Probably easier then, to just get the hydraulic setup from a junkyard.
