Best thing to do is try to find another cabover of 84-90 vintage for parts. They mostly were all power steering by then. My ‘85 parts truck has everything on it but I might be using it on my ‘73 Pete.
Also if you can’t get a pump bolted to the back of the oil pump you can mount one on a bracket and use a v-belt off of the accesory drive to run it. My Nh 250 in my ‘72 White 4000 was set up from factory this way. It has Sheperd box and pump sits up above the fan hub and water pump. The belt runs from the fan hub pulley. The 250’s had the oil filter horizontally mounted on the back of oil pump so no way to mount a hydro pump to it.
Adding power steering

This is how it is mounted. The belt is off right know because the gear box is leaking and obsolete so in the mesn time I put a Gemmer manual box in its place. Most likely it is gonna be there to stay.

Now the new guys will want to know what the red lever is on the side of the engine. That is warp drive right? Twin sticks to the dash! Switch to the tank with jet fuel!! Then flip the lever that changes the compression ratio!!! -
