Additives help you any?

thats why i said run a tank of loves. there bio blend % is high. cleans well, fuel mileage not the best.

 

A while back i did a month experiment on howes. Always kept track of my mpgs on paper. Never noticed a bit of difference. Not saying don't use it. Just my experience.

In our fleet that only seems to be a Volvo issue. Many of the guys in a Volvo complain of black filters. My Cascadia, same routes, same Loves fuel, same mileage, no black filters at all. But to be fair, we have no other models of truck for better comparison.

 

It may be all in my head, but I swear Lucas Inj. Treatment smooths out idle on both our gassers & diesels.

 

I have never used additives, in diesel , gas , or oil.
If your buying decent quality products you should not need extras, there's additive the refinery's already add, for winter or summer the blends are different.

 

Waste of money
