I'm never quittin I'm having fun! I only quit for a few days when rates are in the toilet and I'm chompin at the bit to roll again. Even big bad gubment cant p on my parade. I hope I still look at it like this after 25 or more years. There is something to be said for if and when a driver chooses to hang it up, that they do it on their own terms.

Sold out myself! Just tired of being gone most of the time and of doing more and making less. Went back to driving construction. 9 month a year job suits me fine.

It's funny how the twist of fate works for or against you. A buddy of mine I hadn't heard from in a while but I was thinking about the other day called me. I'm on vacay at the ski lodge thinking there's no way I'm going to get a signal when his call comes through. He called because of a problem he's having with a hot water heater, I help the best I can and let him know my situation, he offered me a job at the campground he runs. I told him I was on vacation, that I would call him when I get back, I'll let ya'll know how it plays out.
