Thanks for pointing out their other areas of driving. They look like a solid choice unfortunately they have nothing in Virginia or anywhere else for driving.

It's a tough CDL job market in many places right now -- & has been since 2021, or so -- & especially for rookie drivers.
You can't just pick & choose carriers the way some could several years back.
You may have to take what you can get.
That's one reason why I suggested Swift, earlier.
You gotta start somewhere.....

Old Dominion is very popular for the big paychecks and excellent benefits. That's why there's no openings right now.
Just start applying with all the other companies that have been suggested to you, including the ones you listed for Apprenticeship program.
If you do this, you'll have a new job within a few days.StephenH Thanks this. -
I know of at least one driver on here that studying Japanese in hopes of being hired as a trucker or bus driver in Japan.
Japan has some really nice jazz lounges also if you prefer the quiet peaceful night life filled with beautiful women.

Thanks for your suggestion. I just got off the phone with J B Hunt and not only do they not have anything currently but surprisingly not very helpful as well. Very disappointing. I'm going to call Swift today and see what they have and what they recommend. -
