Advice for 8am delivery in Carson, CA

Hi all! I'm delivering on a weekday at 8am in Carson, CA. Does anyone have any advice on where I could park beforehand to minimize losing hos hours due to morning traffic?

 

Some might think I'm being a smartbutt here but best advice: accept the HOS loss this once, park outside the LA/Inland Empire area. Get in, Get out, Then never accept another load going to that region. I delivered in that area once and tried to park for early ontime delivery. It truly isn't worth whatever you are getting paid to deal with the LA garbage dump

 

Maybe there is a hotel there that has truck parking.

Along these lines, I made it work a few times by posting up in Barstow ahead of time and getting in and out of the city in one shift. Not sure if you have anything coming back out or not.

Of course it didn't always pan out and I ended up parking in Ontario. Not ideal, but can't win 'em all.

 

E. Dominguez St., East of Wilmington in Carson Ca. All industrial in that area.
