Advice is needed

    Hey everyone!I need advise on how to get a trucking job.Currently I have my class A CDL with all my endorsements except hazmat.I have zero experience.....I took all the test at the DMV and paid a third party tester for my road test.I did not go to C.R England, Roadmasters, ect...Now I'm having a hard time getting anyone to consider me for a job.I do have a criminal record that finalized in 2007 (possession of paraphernalia)I also have zero points on my license.Who what where and how should I go about all this?Anyone out there in a similar situation?Any feedback is appreciated.Thanks

    It will be very hard to get a trucking job without a CDL school. The only company I am aware of that will hire with no experience is Panther Expedite, and that is to drive cargo vans or straight box trucks. Don't know how the criminal record will affect that.

    It may help if you put your city & state on your profile.

    Here are some companies that hire felons, but you must ask them if they require a CDL school. I got this information from studying this forum. Apply online first then follow up with a phone call in a few days.

    Buel Inc
    Apergis Transportation

    If you can't afford private CDL school, then apply to companies that have training. Contact USA Truck & several others such as Prime Inc.
