Columbia glider 12.7 Ddec 4.
So I was driving along in ky and it seemed my fuel was not getting to engine? But than it stopped after a bit.
My make stopped working just a few minutes after this. I wiggled brake and clutch pedal, but did not help.
Than as I went to turn off onto off ramp in Oak grove, KY, my rpms when out of gear were staying at 1500 rpm on its own. I had to turn off truck and restart engine to park.
Is this a fuse, or sensor, or ECM issue?
I am going to unhook batteries and see if that helps. Even right now at high idle set at 1000 it keeps going to 1500 on its own? This is not a dpf truck. And it is a manual 10 speed. Here is the last ecm trip report. The ecm did not have much information as it should have had. Seems fishy.
I also posted this in the tech forum.
Advice needed asap.

Take her off cruise see if you get that engine to settle down. If she cranks to 1500 on it's own, slap the #### hammer once. She should settle down.
Oldironfan Thanks this. -
I took off of idle and tapped hammer but it climbed on its own still to 1500.

I have started engine after battery unhook. And now make a are back ,and idle is holding at 1000. Guess I'll take a go at it.

Throttle position sensor maybe

It's back to normal right now.

Has not happened lately. I do believe it's an programming ecm type issue.
