Alternatively you can also make good money not having a class A license. And this is assuming one wants to work with a railroad company of course

Zero interest. Doesn't pertain to the topic at hand

The railroad is just one example. Dozens of other companies require Class-A cdl and don't use tractor-trailers.

Correct and that was through a class A course. Misfortune is why I didn't obtain my class A then so I'm fine with a class B for now

In other words you want to do what you want to do and all the good advice to the contrary won't change your mind? Okay, no problem.

Incorrect. Good advice is good advice. Being off topic is a totally different scenario. I made zero mention of wanting a Class A, for my own reasons I prefer a Class B but that shouldn't have needed to be stated. Again I asked for an opinion that's all. But duly noted on good advice.

Based on the forum posts I have read over the years, contracts and new drivers don't mix well, especially if there is a bunch of fine print or a last minute addendum.

    DanOMac Thanks this.
