I dont know, sounds to me like you are going to do what you want to do no matter what anyone says...
So why are you asking?
As was said, with a class A you can do class B work. You do NOT HAVE TO do class A work. Training for A or B costs the same. If you get a B now, and want an A later, you are going to pay the same amount over again. Yet this is a non-issue for you. So again, why are you asking?
This propane job is going to go away if you dont take the apprenticeship? If not, again, why are you asking? You already put $1500 down and the state will pay the rest. If the job wont be there if you get your own training, and you dont finish their course, you are out the $1500 and will have to reapply to the state along with paying another $1500. Seems pretty simple to me which option is "best", so again, why are you asking?
You seem to have come in here from the start with a complete attitude. So why, EXACTLY, are you here?
Do you have a clue how many years of experience in this business is talking to you so far in this thread? And you want to dismiss it. Fine. Dismiss it. Go do what you are going to do.

As stated previously, the notion was never a?"you're going to do whatever you want to do so why ask" clearly you're not interpreting the scenario correctly and/or bandwagon jumping from the previous guy who again made incorrect connotations. The reason behind the post is for me to see what others may do and make my decision based off other plausible sensible comments. Constantly mentioning class A this class A that is irrelevant because nowhere insight was that ever brought up, and I'm not clueless as to what opportunities a class A presents. Use common sense if I'm going for a B obviously I know an A exist.
Additionally for you to assume and become antagonistic for literally no reason while providing little to no substance I ponder to ask what reason do you have to reply other to fish for comments that will respond negatively in kind. As if , if someone doesn't agree with you they're "gonna do what they want to do" -

You never answered my question. Why are you here?
"The reason behind the post is for me to see what others may do and make my decision based off other plausible sensible comments."
Nope, that is not the reason you are here, or you would have left by now. There is no reason to get a B over an A. None. If you are looking for someone to agree with you that in your situation a B is better than an A you wont find it here, because it is nonsensical. In no way ever is it better to get a B over an A.
Unless you cant figure out how to move a trailer without running into stuff. Which is what I figure happened at your first failed attempt to get your A based on your previous comments on the subject. That being the case, you have no business behind the wheel of any motor vehicle...
"Use common sense if I'm going for a B obviously I know an A exist."
YOU are the one not using common sense here.
"Im fine with a B for now"
Meaning that in the future you may change your mind, and yet you belittle people and the "stay on topic" spiel and general attitude of someone that isnt about to listen to anyone on anything, Seen it a hundred thousand times (really, I keep score)...
I mean you are a special kind of troll when Chinatown walks away from trying to help someone. He is one of the most helpful people on this board when it comes to helping people find jobs (holding that little girl hostage notwithstanding).
So again, why EXACTLY are you here?
Answer: to troll. Nothing more. Have a nice life...Last edited: May 30, 2024
