Sorry, nothing personal here, but I have to toss down the BS flag on this play. Two thoughts immediately come to mind about the above comment. First, if you restrict the vehicle to about 25-30 mph tops, they all seem to have an amazing amount of power. It's at higher speeds, where an angine shows it's true mettle, trying to accelerate a load when the ratio is almost 1-1 between the engine and the driveshaft.

Secondly, you are not dealing with the same type of drive train we are in trucks. All you are doing is operating a generator, with the engine running at a constant speed. At a constant speed, the engine is producing it's optimum amount of power all the time, never has to accelerate a bit. You are driving the truck through putting power to the wheel motors from the generator, so the engine's ability to accelerate and power the vehiocle is minimal at best.

You are trying to compare apples and oranges here, and it's not a valid comparison.

Ok Guys... I rolled the dice. Wired the money this morning and will be picking it up on Friday. I figure its only 18500.00 and if I sunk 15k into it I would still be ahead because of the overall condition. Bringing down to my local KW shop Saturday for a full inspection, yeah its a little late but atleast I will know where I stand, atleast these guys are honest with me.
