I notice no one looked at this from a safety stand point. It's one thing to have your own dog, but with a new driver dealing with the everything else you put an unknown animal in the truck with him, What could possibly go wrong. Don't worry though if something does happen because of the dog it will still be your fault, and yes the trainer will deny everything.

Good of you to get another trainer. No offence to you but with only a couple days in you really have no idea if he good or just good at b.s. My opionion is he's not good by just the fact he has a large dog in a training truck. Usually that bad a lack of judgement translates into bad driving knowledge.

At least you can blame the dog. I have seen trainers stink so bad you would wish their was a dog their to blame.

This crazy business has many rights of passage. As far as smell, I could deal with dog smell, if the truck smells like dirty ### or piss, we wouldn't have left the yard. At that point you have your health to be worried about. Truthfully, part of this business and being successful at it is being professional. Walking into a shipper or cons with B.O. and covered in dog hair is definitely not professional. Just makes me wonder what other bad habits you could pick up from him. IMHO
