Don't get led headlightes, that just makes people want to throw buckets of golf balls at you going down the road.Tb0n3 Thanks this.
-
Ok I can't make out the details with that one.
-
No don't do that, you need to get projection lamp setup to use leds correctly, otherwise it because a glare maker.
-
Trucklight , grote and JW speaker make led headlights that will fit your A. They are DOT approved and if aimed correctly will not blind on coming traffic. Dont buy the cheap crap.
I'm partial to the JW speakers myself.
Do it. You wont be disappointed.Dakmac Thanks this. -
This is only true if you put led bulbs in a non projector housing like in a Columbia or something like that.
In the case of the ops A model kenworth you replace the whole sealed beam with a replacement led style. No need for projectors. The sealed beam led lights out by brand name companies like truck light are DOT approved. -
True if like stated above. Dont put led bulbs in non projector housings.
Or dont use non DOT compliant sealed beams.
LEDs are great asset to any truck if you dont cheap out and buy the correct ones. Oh and for god's sake, aim them properly. Any light shining in the trees is going to make people want to throw golf balls at you..Tb0n3 Thanks this. -
Sorry boys, I guess now this thread is about LEDs now.
