No you don't drivers. You can break 10 of those 11splin sockets to turn the piston. If you happened to strip the crank and not break it you can take a pair of long nose vice vice grips and they will easily fit inside the hole and attach the vice grips to the inside nut that is stripped and clamp down on the nut. Now take a open wrench and turn the vice grips to back off on the brake pads until you can pull the pads out. Now after you pull the pads out just watch the caliper piston until you back them off to the caliper. Take the caliper with your hands on both sides and see if the caliper will move back and forth. Now the caliper is not damaged. Take some non carbonated brake cleaner and spray the caliper good. Replace your brake pads and take the wrench and turn the vice grips clockwise until the caliper tighten up. Not hard tight. Just a little snug. Now back off 2 or 3 clicks and stop right there. Now go to your next brake caliper after installing your wheels. Shops make money off drivers that doesn't know and trying to save maintenance cost. Thanks for reading this to help you.
