I wear Redwing 2253's I've had several pairs and they have been real good for me. I also like the Carhart pull on work boots.

How are you wearing out red wings in six months? I used to get at least a year out of them doing hard physical labor. Driving a truck ain't exactly hard on boots.
-
You must not be one of those drivers who walk around with flip flops on?
-
I'm not wearing them out. At 6 months the leather starts to get soft and you lose some support. My feet are bad enough that I can start to feel it at that time.
Not that it makes a difference but I use them for doing things other then trucking. They're my farming, wood cutting, hunting, you name it boots. -
Need some steel toe flip flops. Saw a driver once get out barefoot wearing shorts and a safety vest to secure his load.
-
I'd buy a pair ... But I don't need steel toe as I hear they make your toes cold in winter.
Chewy352 and johndeere4020 Thank this. -
Some of us have too much pride for that.

Do Crocks count as Flip Flops???
-
No, but they are subject to the same scrutiny in my book.
DRAGON64, Crusader66, MidWest_MacDaddy and 1 other person Thank this. -
Over a year old, worn every day in all conditions and I still love em. And of course the dog had to come see what was going on.
