Getting the trailers cleared to move on the road as has been mentioned several times above is your first hurdle. After you get that accomplished, contact a trucking company that provides power only or freight brokerage and find out what it's going to cost you to move them.

Be prepared to have your weight, commodity, and other information handy as whoever rates it for you will need that information to get a cost estimate.

According to Internet Truckstop's rate index (no association with my company or myself) on state to state rates, you're looking in the neighborhood of $1.75 + fuel surcharge per trailer. I just did a state to state search and came up with about 619 miles. This isn't accurate because we don't know the actual locations or routes that will need to be taken, however this gives you a ball park.

    $1.75 x 619 = $1,083.25
    $.50 x 619 = $309.50 fuel

    Total: $1,392.75

It's not a gaurantee you'll get a truck for that. That's a ball park estimate based on what little information you gave. Capacity availability; weight; transit time needed; need for permits; etc. etc. will all have a factor. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I have deleted several posts here. TTR has NO desire to be a load board. Asking about getting them road ready is one thing, but moving the load through TTR is quite another. Let stay on topic and help this guy get the trailers ready to move, then he can find someone to move them elsewhere.

And he's asking about registration and insurance. I took it was an either or situation.

That's all besides the point. I believe BHW answered what I was trying to find out. We are not a load board.

My apologies to the moderators for starting a post that worked like a load board. Thanks to everyone who threw there 2 cents in.
