Advice on pulling heavy loads........

Thats what we were taught TO SAY for our drivers test when I was in school,the testers asked all of us in the class how to properly decend a steep grade and thats what they wanted to hear.However,they told us in the real world to use the right gear to handle the decent with very little if any braking.
