I take a lot of ibruprofen 1.6 to 2.4 grams a day. I also take melatonin to help sleep. It is available in the vitamin isle. It is the same chemical your brain produces to help you sleep. I passed a drug screen taking both products the night before the drug screen.

Advil PM's ain't worth a #### anyway. I steady wake up under them. Tylenol PM's are better and your sure to get rested.

Too lazy to look it up as far as DOT goes... BUT yes, I know that some companies have it as their policy that ALL "PM" type OTC drugs are prohibited from being on the truck, as is Benedryl. I was specifically told that regular Sudafed was ok for sinus problems, but if anything stronger was needed (ie Nyquil, Benedryl, Tylonel PM, etc...) I would NEED to notify Safety and be put OOS until cleared.

I personally don't like any of those anyway so this will never be a problem. The few times I have resorted to them in the past, I felt completely useless for about 2 days.:biggrin_25513:

If I EVER work for a company where I cannot have Tylenol PM....I will then be a drug user I guess.....LOL Lock up your children,etc.etc... I recently had to do a drug screen,(pre employment)and asked the nurse about the PM"s showing up on test,-long story short-thats B.S.:biggrin_25513::biggrin_25525:
