    Your title is Afraid to drive again and all you mentioned was that you don't like shifting leading me to believe that you can not handle it. Sorry, I assumed.

    As one who’s been cursed with an automatic for almost two years now, the one I drive will never be better than a manual. It’s entirely too slow, and it does what it wants to regardless of my 20+ years of experience screaming otherwise.

    as a steering wheel holder, you know jack squat.

    I couldn't agree more. It's been about 2 years for me too and I'm still in denial. Tankers with autos should be illegal.
