Possibly. I don’t haul shacks so I don’t really keep up on them, but yes often they have special restrictions.

 

It means you should only get your info directly from the states. That website, and many like it, are absolutely junk.

Nearly everything from that excerpt is wrong. There is no curfew on the loop, and you can travel 7 days a week in ga, as of like 6 years ago.

So it seems that their website is wrong because I've moved plenty of super loads through GA on the weekends.



The part about 285 is just saying you can't go inside the loop. Doesn't say you can't be on it. It's a poorly worded paragraph.

 

There is a curfew on the loop....

 

I was confused about it also one day, so I called and I was told 285 is included in the curfew.

 

It’s not on the permit or their website. Been running through there for years at 16’ wide, none of our guys have ever got a ticket.

 

I asked at the scale south of ATL also...... Its the word "bounded" that throws people off. The way it was explained to me. 285 is part of the bounded area too.
