The HOA doesn't allow it. Can't even park a car on the street after dark. Car has to be either in the garage or driveway with no overhang on the sidewalk or grassy area. Real strict, but a nice place to live.

What's HOA?
-
HOA is short for Homeowners Association. Where I live the fee is $214.00 a month. They even cut the grass. Have to punch a code in a gate to gain access to the community. I like it there.
This isn't my home, but it's similar:

That's where people dictate what you can and can't do with your own home.
-
I would hate that.Like were not dictated enough.
-
Some people like that, because it deals with the issue of " the pig next door".
I'd personally rather have NOBODY next door.1278PA, ChaoSS, Cottonmouth85 and 1 other person Thank this. -
HOA's are the biggest scam, don't ever fall behind in your HOA payments as they can foreclose on your home even though they aren't the lender of your home.
There are stories of people who lost their homes for being delinquent for as little as a couple thousand dollars, as once they initiate foreclosure proceedings and add attorney and other fees, you'll wind up being delinquent triple of what you originally owed.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
I'm lucky I have such good neighbors. An Asian family is only feet from my house and very easy going and helpful.People across the street are religious and the man of the house has helped me alot with the plumbing heavy yard work you name it.

Back to the op. Some mail box places like the ups store will give you a actual physical address. So it will work, plus they can easily forward your mail to another one of their stores for you to retrieve. You call on Monday, tell them to ship your mail to the kc store, (becuse you know you will be there in 4 days...)

To be honest, two people living in a truck [and only one driver] is rough but it can be done if there is sufficient motivation and need.
How this would work would depend a lot on where he's working and the fleet he is on. Some places won't allow passengers until after a certain amount of satisfactory work so ask questions.
The showers may or not be an issue depending on how much fueling can be done at truck stops as opposed to terminals. But if fuel can be concentrated at one chain or another, unlimited showers will be available on his rewards card and you can shower separately which would be ideal long term.Lepton1 Thanks this.
