Ag 400 suspension

    I just looked at a brand new Aussie KW T909 with AG 400 and it's got 2 fast acting Hadley levelling valves. The AGs have always had 2 valves here, so do the US and Canadian AGs have just the one?

    I bought an AG100 cutoff to upgrade my W900 and it just has the one. I'm thinking 1 valve is standard on most but dual is an option since my dad had the option to order his last 2 tri drives with dual valves (which he did because its much more stable than just 1 valve).

    Yeah we usually just have one. Some like neway comes with two.

    They are probably inflating with the same air pressure but one is just not aligned. Check cross member for broken bolts or bent. Put a t-square on frame to see if straight. Check and see if saddle bracket is straight. Those saddles are plastic could be the single bolt that comes out 5 he bottom is bent or has the saddle warped.

    From what he is saying it looks like all the right hand side bags are out of align not the one bag. But if it's just the one bag it would be easy to see where the problem is just by removing the bag.

    2 valves are harder to set up but they work well on bad cambered roads specially with high loads. Some of our back roads have got unbelievably bad cambers. All KWs here have got 2 valves whether it's Nuway, AG or Hendrickson.

    Yep, we don't really have that issue over here. My truck came with dual valves but I converted it to single. I still have air gauges in dash for right or left. You can see the difference when on a badly cambered road.

    On the old type you must back off bolts ( you may find loose nuts and bolts) and put a jack or port/a/power to push bottom out then tighten all bolts back up.

    image.jpeg Here is a pic of an airbag on my truck. I replaced them a couple years ago and it appears mine aren't all straight either. It isn't offset as much as yours is in your pic but just wanted to show you another truck with the same setup. It appears the bottom of your air bag plate is off center for some reason. Let us know what you find out.

    I'm wondering if that's just due to movement in the suspension bushings, allowing the axle to track side to slightly on turns.
