It will be like Laredo and El Paso. All of the American drivers will drop the trailers on the U.S. side of the border in Arizona and Nevada then the California drivers will complete the delivery with their "green" trucks.

I can't believe that the courts have let them make these regulations and it involves Interstate Trucking.

They really are like a different country

It would be good for Tesla and the all electric trucks. If anyone wants to go to California you will now need an electric truck.

When Nixon signed the Clean Air Act it contained an exemption for California because California already had an EPA-like agency doing what the EPA was being empowered to do to the rest of us.

i think i had responded to a thread like this either here or elsewhere, when i said that the emissions standards for nearly all vehicles reaches beyond CA.

here in New England, we have cars that have CA emissions, i know, i have had 3 so far, since 2010

they (the states) are slowing adopting the CA/CARB rules. in time, it'll be all 48 lower US states.

what does a company owner do then?

    it's inevitable.

    long read:
Will More States Follow California on Deal with Automakers?

    shorter version:
Which states use California emissions standards?
The states that accept California emissions standards are Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington, as well as the District of Columbia.Nov 4, 2019
