AGAIN WAY TO HOT for ME!

A truck fire on Oregon 20E about 60 miles east of Bend closed the roadway for about six hours. The flatbed trailer on the semi-truck was loaded with bales of cardboard headed from Idaho to Springfield to be recycled.
The cause of the fire is unknown. The driver, Michael J. Asbury, 30, managed to separate the trailer from the truck. He was not injured. A inspection of the truck by a trooper investigating the accident revealed no apparent violations.
The fire, near the community of Hampton, was beyond the jurisdictions of fire districts. The highway division and the Bureau of Land Management worked to unload the burning cardboard from the trailer onto the shoulder.
