Please help, I have been trying to find out which air compressor will work for my truck other than the Cat brand. I have found two different ones which both say they will work but I am wanting to make sure. I have found the tu flo 550 is supposed to work and the EL365. Which one would work best and which do you recommend. Thank you

ACERT twin cylinder compressors are garbage and are known world wide for very early failure. Cat don't give warranty or replacement warranty parts. once you've had it replaced once that's it you're on your own.

tru flow 550 or 750 compressor will work with a few mods.

When I changed mine last, I went through this but ended up just getting a cat one as my truck has very high daily income and the lost time wasn't worth waiting for a Bendix to be ordered and find a core etc etc.

I had spoken direct to Bendix and they had one that would fit with a couple modifications, he said that the compressors are made with such cheap Chinese parts that they won't even rebuild them or take them as a core.

We have staring installing bendix compressors. Minor changes to coolant and feed/discharge lines. Got sick of the CAT compressors always failing, even the updated ones.

drill the oil drain holes in the backing plate, fit Wabco or Bendix compressor with the same gear and/or spacer plate that it would use for a 6NZ. modify the plumbing and you're away
