That’s about right. I have ad9. They are cheap. No sense of changing anything or filter. Swap whole unit. It will last a years without even changing filter

Many many many miles. You won’t have to worry about that. Not sure about miles but it will be a couple years before you have to spend a measly 100 bucks again on a new one

I replace the cartridge ( filter ) yearly. It's cheap and takes 2 or 3 minutes to replace.

Throwing money out the window. Takes more than 2 to 3 minutes on ad9. Plus filter cost money. Ad9 filter lasts couple years. If air tanks start taking on water, it’s time to get a new one. Replace whole unit

I think a lot of truck manufactures stopped using ad9. Not sure why. Supposed to be the best unit

The AD9 desiccant cartridge is suppose to last 5 years. That’s why they where used. Unless they are contaminated with oil they should stop all most water from entering the wet tank. If you dryer started blessing down to 90 it’s probably the outlet check valve. It’s under the outlet fitting on the bottom. There may also be a check on the wet tank. Take them both apart and clean them up. If the valve itself isn’t broken they should go to working again. But I would try that before I spent any money.

    Cam Roberts Thanks this.
