    Anybody familiar with Niuparts.com?
I called the dealer for price on an air dryer, $718.00. Then I look on the internet for an aftermarket dryer and I come across on from these guys for $125.00. They are out of Canada, should I be wary of this, found an aftermarket dryer on two other sites for $612.00.

I sure as shooting wouldn't buy one for 125$ when everything else is closer to 600. And once I'm at 600 id probably just spring for the dealer price

You got my attention. I looked it up, for sale through amazon. I wouldn’t hesitate to get it. Dealers are hit and miss on parts. Reviews are 5 out of 5. Aftermarket is so huge for Truck parts. Lots of competition. Take advantage of it.

I usually get my AD-9 dryer from my local Freightliner dealer, $179 exchange for a reman.

I just saw on sale at Transwest Freightliner in Colorado 1 hour ago an AD9 reman cost $179 (If I remember right), and new cost approximately $275-I think. Eboogey, I would check as to whether the $125 is remanned or new. Probably remanned. Or there is a catch, like maybe it doesn't include the incandescent cartridge,or it isn't wired, or original molds that were manufactured a little out of spec that the maker sluffs off onto aftermarket dealers. If it fits, and it plugs right in, and you don't have to do or buy a cartridge or wire it, I think I would give it try. The worst case is that connect the 2 lines at the drier real quick and fix it right away again. If the purge valve leaks where it seats to the housing, I would think you might could install a slightly larger o-ring/seal and use it again. Hell, where my AD9 is located, I can change it in 15 minutes at a truck stop parking lot.

Keep in mind, there are businesses out there nowadays that are in need of revenue income and are maybe unloading inventory cheap and pocketing the cash before they file for bankruptcy.
