I have wabco air dryer and on the bottom next to the purge valve there is another let's call it valve [not sure what it is called] it's leaking a bit of air, called dealer and they want to sell me $1000 new air dryer, they say that part can't be bought by itself, any idea what's it called and is it possible to buy a new part or rebuild it with parts, ty 20250111_144840.jpg 20250111_144821~2.jpg

That's right, it is a turbo valve, rebuildable!!

The air dryer is a system saver 1200 plus series air dryer with multi-circuit protection. So, it depends on the model and serial number of the unit, there are four kits (inexpensive) that include all the parts needed. The cost should be around $50 but you need the right kit.

It is important you take it apart carefully, there is a spring in there and reassemble it like it came out. You have to use Oring lube, not grease, I had several kits that did not have it in the package so we used Parker Super Oring lube - $20 per tube, you just need a little bit so save it for next time.
