I was told by a tire guy that running on a low tire or especially a flat tire weakens the side wall then you go to add air and the tire blows up killing you or ripping your arm off if it had blown I would have pulled over called the shop and they would have sent out a mobile service. I once heard a tire on an earthmoving truck blew up and the force was so.great it crushed the entire cab killing the driver. I personally had a tire blow on my water truck in the oilfields just sitting parked it blew the mud flap 30 yard off the truck My job is not working on flat tires I had been driving 12 hours that day thru Jasper natnl park up and down mountains 547 miles that's what I get paid to do not fool around with tires.
