I have a RTLO18913 that will leak air for a second at the shift knob when splitting down form the high side to the low side. It still shifts fine, everything seems normal except this little spit of air everytime I split down. Any ideas?

Did it just start doing it?

The valve on the stick is meant to exhaust air from the cylinders on the transmission IIRC. Could just be normal operation.

Just started, it's not the normal exhaust air leak.

Mine does something similar to that every once in a while so when I park for the night I just sprayed WD-40 in all the little cracks wipe it down and go to bed next morning no leak!

Likely you just have an o-ring that's leaking a little. Could be cut or just dry. Simple enough to take the top off and replace and lube everything up. Or just leave it be. Mine leaks pretty much constantly when the splitter is back. I haven't bothered to take it apart, I just primarily leave the splitter forward

rebuild kits are fairly cheap, but honestly just a good cleaning and lub on the springs will work wonders
