New here and a new owner-operator. I have a 04 t-800 with a air leak at the firewall. When I pull on the valve to set my trailer brakes.I see other air lines that hook up in this area, and was wondering if maybe a line just blew off or something.

I had a Pete that did that. It was an air leak on the trailer. Check your trailer lines.

Can't be the trailer when you set the brakes. That will remove pressure from the trailer. I would move the truck to a quiet area and see if you can hear the vicinity of the leak. Also place your hand over the area you hear the leak. Hearing a change in the sound will help you pinpoint the leak.

Take a plastic squeeze bottle, put a little dish washing soap in it, fill with water. Spray all the junctions, fittings, hoses, etc., and look for bubbles in the soapy water.

I know where the leak is. just not sure how to fix it. On the top center of the fire wall, there is an area with round ports that some air lines go to. Two of the ports are open with no lines going to them. One of those ports is blowing air out hard when I set the trailer brakes.Just wondering if it might have blown a line off there. I noticed two air lines ziped tied with other lines that are not hooked to anything, one is orange and one black. Does one of those lines go to the leaking port?

So it only Blows air out for a few seconds after you pull up on the trailer brakes?
if its not consistent airflow I wouldn't worry. -
Find another truck like yours, and look at it. I believe you will find there is not a problem, just normal exhaust of air from setting your brakes.

it dosent stop blowing, losses all air pressure?

problem fixed thanks
