The process of only locking up the tractor brakes can be horrible. First check to see how many air locking chambers you have on the drive wheels. If it is 4 probable OK, BUT if you only have 2, be careful, in the winter on a sloped surface 2 drive wheels may not have the friction necessary to hold the vehicle. Have seen a few trucks sliding down hills with only 2 drive wheels sliding in the wintertime. Sometimes happens when a driver stops on the top of a mountain in slippery conditions.

You leave the red valve in and motor running while you load. The truck and trailer will adjust to the load and be ready to go when you are, or start the truck while you are strapping down the load.
