I hope that will be the case I had my 2nd interview today via Google meet. It lasted about an hr, I'd like to assue that's a good thing ? And not rushed off the call. They said they had other interviews possibly also but regardless I should hear something si I'm not sure how to take that but j agree with you those cylinders are hell especially in 90+ weather

Their turn over is really high. You will be hired. And it is stable. They also do hospital and nursing home oxygen, all kinds of welding gas routes and that stuff. They always need people.

I know the Safety Officer for a large area Southern Cal. They have a lot of room to move around, transfer etc. I do know, you get a preventable or a ticket and you're gone, no questions asked. Most of it is city. I have towed for them a lot. They are big on safety and regulations. They have to be. If you're looking for a sweet fancy truck, that's not the place for you. It will be a solid working truck though. Usually a really long Pete straight truck with an autoshift. In some downtown areas, the trucks are shorter. Always daycab. Never seen one without AC or Auto, I have seen Mack and some other makes. Do what they tell you to and you'll be fine.

I will say amerigas is a pretty presumably relaxed environment. Stop a your railroad crossings, the Manager isn't nit picky or micromanaging at all so far, and the guys are Decent. The pay is slightly better at 26.5. Of course they too have driver facing cameras but just don't do anything stupid and that shouldn't be too hard to manage

Just take it for what it is. It's better than some. It's a job. There are worse things, better things. You won't be sleeping in some truck stop somewhere listening to gunshots all night and stepping in urine when you get out to go fuel with a card that won't work
-
It's a second shift position so it's a possibility you may step in urine at one of the bars since he mentioned you are mostly at the back of these areas and not the best people are hanging around said areas.

I think they have a cylinder delivery add for that specific job. I always see the cylinder delivery add in my area. I was delivering to a Taco Bell when I was in food service. Co2 guy pulled up in a class b tanker straight truck. Drug his hose size of a tire air hose hooked up, filled, and bounced. Easiest job while I was humping stuff on a 2 wheeler. They don’t change cylinders. Everyone needs carbonated soda. So any place with fountain soda needs co2.
