Can you define what you think their straight truck would presumably be ft wise? Are you talking like 30ft? They called me today I haven't responded yet

Like a water truck size or a small end dump size. Basically a day cab with a quarter tank on the back of the day cab size. Easy to get into parking lots. This guy was delivering to a mall also when I was delivering.

I'm curious with these type of jobs/trucks are you having to maneuver them backwards into lots ? Or could you just for the most part pull in and just retract the hose I say that because 2nd shift hours bars/restaurants busy hrs alot of patrons to move around

The hose comes out the side I believe. So you’ll likely pull up to the back door and double park. Probably not any crazy backing unless the store is
    Located weird.

I see I see thanks I appreciate the comment. The manager has called me I haven't returned the call as of yet just trying to decide if I should make the jump. Primarily due to the lax manager I have at amerigas who doesn't breathe down your neck and once you're done you can go back to terminal and wait until clock out time. Pay isn't terrible at 26.50 but I've heard airgas is considered a step up from jobs like amerigas and I doubt it's more physical

If you go to Airgas I would down the road try to get into the tractor trailer cryogenic tankers.

Nah I'm very much okay with keeping a Class B license. Not really my thing dragging a 53ft trailer personally. I worked with the state they offered the upgrade. What's your opinion on amerigas ? Not to say one is better than the other but I have 0 uniforms/ppe, gear which kinda irritates me alot. 1st shift is what I'm doing currently. So far no issues with management

If you like the work environment, people and the pay works for you I’d stay at Amerigas personally. Equipment isn’t gonna be perfect any where you go either. Part of trucking.

The people are decent I guess.. I usually elect to kind of stay in my own lane as the others kind of do too. Training is kinda meh, like you said equipment isn't perfect either lol it's more people here than with the airgas gig I literally think there's less than a handful of drivers, like it would be me and another guy slip seating I was told at the moment they're getting killed with the routes lol. The pay is at the moment I guess fair highest I've had at a job with trucking at least. The worse would be leaving and going to a place that would actually ride your ### on everything which is fine as long as you do your job I guess but could get annoying. Haven't encountered it yet though as it's mostly laid back until winter I think
