I'm willing to join on this. These guys are scammers. I grossed 4500 one week and they had the audacity to pay me 350 dollars. The next week I worked a load to get me back to terminali grossed 6500 dollars and they payed me 0.

I called them and sent them emails and nobody replies. I posted a review on Facebook for sames LOGISTICS and they replied saying I took the truck home and never brought it back and that they had to tow it back lmao. Complete liars. I paid 300 dollars out of money I didn't have( because they didn't pay me for 2 weeks) to get a flight back to my old company which took me in right away.

First, I am not busting chops here, I am truly asking trying to help.....you both posting about bad experiences with this company leased a truck from them, correct? One post says "I grossed 4500 one week and they had the audacity to pay me 350 dollars.", how much fuel did you buy and when did you buy it? Did you understand when the cut off date and/or time was for items that get deducted from that check?

For the 4500 week I fueled 1450. For the 6500 dollar week I fueled 2200. Did not buy anything else. They deducted truck payment, eld, insurance, ifta, plates, maintenance deposit. I was left with 350 dollars. Now I'm no genius but I ain't no sucker. Ive been driving 13 years. Tell me if 350 dollars is a good take home pay for a driver with well over a million miles experience, with an immaculate record may I add. No speeding tickets, not accidents, no truck abandonment, no clearing house issues. Can you survive off 350 for a week? Also I did say I worked another week. For 6500 to bring me back to the terminal. That's was from Pa to Ms, MS to NC, NC to Kansas city, KC to meridian id, and I'd to Chicago back to terminal in one week. I even brought the truck back, CLEANED IT OUT. MADE SURE IT WAS READY FOR THE NEXT GUY. AND I WILL ADD, WHEN THEY GAVE ME THE TRUCK IT WAS FILTHY. IT SMELLED LIKE SMOKE AND IT LOOKED LIKE A MECHANIC HAD JUST GOT DONE ROLLING AROUND IN GREASE AND THEN WENT IN THE TRUCK AND WIPED IT ALL OFF IN THERE. IT WAS GROSS. SO I CLEANED AND DETAILED IT. AND LIKE I SAID I BROUGHT IT ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE TERMINAL. I THANKED THEM FOR GIVING ME THE OPPORTUNITY. ( I WAS VERY NICE ABOUT IT) ON THE WAY BACK TO THE TERMINAL THE OWNER CALLS ME FROM OVER SEAS. HE WAS IN MACEDONIA. HE ASKED WHY I WAS LEAVING AND HE ASKED FOR AN HONEST ANSWER AS TO WHY HIS TURN AROUND RATE WAS TERRIBLE. I TOLD HIM THAT PEOPLE JUST CANT SURVIVE OFF THAT KIND OF MONEY. SO HE ASKED IF HIS RECRUITING STAFF MIGHT BE DOING SOMETHING CROOKED. ( I THINK HE LIVES OVER SEAS AND FUNDS THE WHOLE THING). WHAT I GATHERED FROM THE SITUATION IS THAT THIS COMPANY IS VERY CROOKED. I MET A DRIVER THAT WAS BEING HIRED ON THE SAME DAY I WAS, HE QUIT 3 DAYS AFTER I QUIT. SAME THING. HE RAN MILES LIKE CRAZY AND GOT A NEGATIVE -125.00 CHECK..

It could very well be that if the owner is over seas and has folks in office running it wherever the terminal is that they are running things afoul and embezzling or stealing money. What do they charge for insurance, plates, ifta and all the fixed costs? The week they paid you $0, that isn't surprising, even if you grossed 6500 considering you turned the truck in and all that. Not saying it is "ok" that they did that, I am just saying it isn't surprising.

If I were in this situation, I would whip out whatever contract I have for the lease of the truck and go over every expense deduction to make sure it checks out and is exactly what the contract says it will be.

Yeah you're right it really is not surprising. So many people warned me about working for chicago-based companies but I guess I had to learn the hard way. I have a buddy that had the same experience with the chicago-based company. I'm just worried that they're going to try to send me a 1099 and say that they paid me so and so amount of money but they never did. That would be the last straw. At that point I would have to file a fraud claim with the IRS. I received only one invoice for the first week from them. When I turn that truck in I never heard from them again. I've tried to call them and email them constantly and they just ignore my calls.

Yeah, I get your frustration. I worked with them for a while, and things were smooth until I decided to lease my own truck and go a different route. They were good about getting things done while I was with them never had major issues with pay or communication. Sometimes delays happen, but they usually take care of things when they come up. I’m sure they’ll get everything straightened out for you. Keep your records just in case, but I think they’ll come through.
