Hey guys. Here is a link to one of the companies that I sub contract for. This is an excellent company and a great group of people to work with. They treat their company drivers better than any I've seen before. They have dedicated trucks, great pay, time off ect. They are very busy and are currently rigging up several new units. All brand new Pete Tri-drive tractors. There are jobs driving fluid tankers, flat decks and yard personell. Check them out if your looking. They have on site accommodations. There are several guys here from out of province.
Contact Bernie or Mark at the Edson office.

One of there mint looking trucks parked beside me the other day in dawson creek. They seem to have good equipment. Is it a mullen company?
-
Thanks Oil Patch, I'll look into that directly!
-
mullen group right on the website. I feel sad, they only give us sask boys kenworth with peterbilt seats but the alb boys get the full package
-
Any idea what they pay?
-
I'm going to guess and say they pay good lol.
-
Hoping for a little more specific lol
Have you applied, or staying where you are? -
Staying where I am for a long time. I think opt said in a different post somewhere its 30+ bucks an hour.
-
Yeah I'd be staying too. Sounds like they treat you good, finding you hours when things are a bit slower and things like that.

Found the post you mentioned, $35 and up. Wonder if that's actually what the lowest paid drivers get, or just the guys in more specialized trucks. Driving transport on the highway for them might not be quite as high for example. I'm sure it's still very good though. -
The pay at Formula Powell is very good. They start green guys at $32.00. Experianced drivers are getting $35 to $40. I am an owner operator. I pay my drivers on percentage. Works out to $46.00 per hour. My driver covers all his own expenses out of that. PPE, hotels, meals ect.
The company drivers do very well. 300 to 400 hours a month. And working with great people. All of there expenses are coverd in addition to thier wage.
The wage is the same no matter what you do there. They don't have different rates for different equipment.Last edited: Oct 26, 2011
