No road test? You also might see about having your mentor drop you off at the Phoenix terminal when your 240 is up. They have a better selection of truck. Good luck. And remember if you feel your mentor isn't training you right don't hesitate to call driver development and get a new mentor. Have fun.

No road test, just finish school 2 weeks ago. My mentor is a pretty good guy so far. I'm his 72 student so he knows how to train really well. Ive got about 14 backs in so far since we had to wait for a load yesterday at the terminal.

Wow...600 miles in less then 10 hrs? Did you ever stop? That's a really good avg for way less then 10 hrs drive time, especially for a Swift truck..:biggrin_25511:

I stopped for about 45min but that is just drive time. My mentor is a L/O so we can haul 'brAss' at 65.8. ;-)

I wouldn't be bragging too much about that...students are restricted to the same 62 MPH that the company drivers are.

    Day 4. 379 Miles

    Day 5 425 Miles

Not bragging just stating a fact. No one ever said anything about 62mph for students so until they do I'm taking full advantage of 65mph

4868 Miles in 9 days. 34 restart done. Hopefully the freight keeps us moving at this pace. He's l/o so he only likes to do light long runs.
