That is irrelevant other than to bash. I am speaking from experience. Am I saying all do it? No. Does it happen on a daily basis, yes. Go to the J in Lareado and watch like I have many times.

Did you watch this from your car with a CB radio or from your company truck..?

Typical comeback I would expect from someone who wants to do nothing than entice a childish argument. You have not added anything to debate other than snide comments. Just like in the rest of the of the industries regulations that have come to pass. A few rotten apples ruin it for the rest of us. Do you have anything of ANY intelligence to offer to a very simple question? From your last 2 comments, probably not. Have a good night driver.

I think this whole thread is ''childish'' and one big waste of time and typing..

Clearly you felt compelled to read and continue to respond. If you think it is childish, then maybe you have the learning capacity of a child in an adult body.roadlt Thanks this.

OP.You can do whatever you want on your time off..It is your time home..I have been doing whatever i want to do in 25+ years,if you know what i mean...As long as i do not operate the tractor,i am fine...
-
OP, just don't drink the night before driving, or during orientation and you'll be fine. Get home Friday leaving Monday, just drink a few Friday and Saturday night. Use Sunday for laundry and getting ready to go and all should be fine.
landstar8891 Thanks this. -
I new a driver that had been driving for 20+ years. 3 Million Miler+... He used to get a 6 pack every night at the truck stop and go to his rig and watch TV, drink his beer and fall asleep. One night a PRIME driver came into the parking lot and took out the front of his KW... He was on a 34 hour reset and it was 2AM... He woke up, went outside to confront the driver...He called the cops and explained that he was in his sleeper on a 34 hour reset and this guy hit his truck. The cop smelled alcohol on his breath, he blew a .07. The cop arrested him for open conatiner, and being over the limit while in a commercial vehicle. He spent his 34 hour reset in jail and he lost his commercial license for 3 years. Now he can not find a job....

Don't take this wrong but if you have to drink while you are on the road, you need to find another job.
I like my beer, I like my shots of Jack but no matter what, if I'm in my truck, I won't even consider it.Gold_Miner and Hitman Thank this.
