I will give that u bolts stretch for sure.
Anyone ever see a Freightliner with rear air bags at an angle?
Very common problem.

That's fine. Like I said, you don't have to believe it for it to be true. We can just agree to disagree.

Also an easily fixed problem.Hulld Thanks this.

Because it is a bad design, u-bolts secure axle and carry all the weight.Hulld Thanks this.

When mine was done this week by md alignment after every adjustment the truck was backed out of the bay and slowly driven back in to the bay with out touching the steering wheel and then rolled to a stop with no brake application.
After that it was shut off in gear with no parking brake.
Then it was rechecked for accuracy.Last edited: Feb 29, 2020

You guys don't run the cross brace at the rear of the springs, under the airbags?
spsauerland and Hulld Thank this. -
Some Freightliner models have them my Columbia doesn’t.
Once I repaired mine it hasn’t been an issue and it’s been a couple of hundreds thousand miles since the repair.spsauerland Thanks this. -
So I see there are many MD alignment locations. Which ones are the good ones?
