Live and learn chopper, you'll find another driving job. It may not be the big mega-carrier that you might prefer but you'll be fine.
I've been driving for over 30 years and I haven't met a driver yet that didn't screw up or screw something up when they first started out. Of course we were a lot younger then, lol.
Another thing to consider is this, trucking is not for everybody. It's not like driving a pick-up truck or a straight truck. you're driving an 80,000 lb. behemoth, worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, not counting the cargo that can run into the millions. You have to be aware of your surroundings the entire time your behind the wheel. It's not a Sunday drive....it's work. You either "have it" or you don't. Wanting to be a truck driver is one thing, being a "professional truck driver" is another.
Good luck and I hope things work out for you.

Exactly! Many companies, especially mine will fire you for far less, but then again we only hire experienced drivers, not that it stops the s#!t happens situations from happening but it does tend to keep them to a minimum.
