All Tankers Please Shut Down

It`s funny the gov works for us we voted them in and we can vote them out, We don`t do our job we are fired, Write your Sen. or Rep what ever it`s time we make a Stand not only fuel but the other bull---- there doing is wrong (Boycot big oil)

We've only begun to Shut these trucks down. You've got to remember, there are many drivers who are still loaded from LAST WEEK!

BUT, If they want to strike after they get the customers freight off their backs? We'll support them. Thanks for everyone getting involved here so deeply.

This is a REAL situation and a REAL issue we all are facing!

We are working around the CLOCK to bring our drivers into a UNITY. You all know that. I would post the site but will respect wiseones forum rules here.

One of the few industries we have left is tourism. Raise gas to $4.00 a gallon and shut tourism off, and I guarantee it wouldn't take the governments long (local, state and federal) to get their thumb out of their collective arses and start looking for solutions.

1.50 a mile to haul - do you really think that's enough to operate on ?

 

$1.50 is base rate plus FSC of at LEAST 50 cents, we're getting more right now.

Actually if they did the right thing with the gas prices being higher than the diesel the FSC would go down and then they couldn't blame higher prices on us????????????

 

i guess the road freight is a lot different than what i do - we would have shut down a long time ago at 1.50 mile - what's it costing you to run per mile ?

 

I have been telling people all along, the only way to shut all trucks down is to not provide fuel. The problem with that is flying j and pilot own their fuel reserves and their drivers are paid good. So therefore, they aren't going to risk their jobs. Although, if all they did, it would be forced government to do something about it!

Bringing regular gas up to $4.00 a gallon,wont do much,except make people madd...No one should take it out on the four wheelers..I dont want any o/o's to take what I say the wrong way..But lets face it,everyone became o/o's by choice...Everyone knew the risks involved.I would love to own my own rig,and,I diont think alot of people seen this coming..Do I think whats goin on is unfair?..H*** YEAH!!!.Its affecting everyone.These oil tycoons dont care at all!!I own a 99' dode ram 1500.It hurts to fill it up...Especially now that it seems like it gets 1/4 mile to the gallon!..We gotta remember,fuel powers our school buses,cop cars,fire trucks and ambulances..To deprive america these commodeties,til fuel comes down,is crazy...I have noticed somthin about drivers.Its seems like most dont worry about when other drivers are hurtin,til they start hurtin too...It finally took alot of drivers to be hurtin,for this to happen..Obviously,there is still some money to be made out there,and the ones makin are gonna care less about the ones who aint..I am all for the stike,but these big wigs in washington are not gonna budge,til it starts affecting them...
