only thing i can really say is Respect your elders lol. Thats what I was always taught and getting advice from an experienced trucker who has been on the road for 6+ years I think it is great but from someone who has had less experience on the road i'm not to sure about.

I had a pretty good idea about trucking before I got into it. My Grandfather retired from P.I.E. in the early 70's and learned truck driving during WW2. He didn't talk about it, but I think he was part of what they called the Red Ball Express. If memory serves that was a continous line of supply trucks and drivers drove till they couldn't for whatever reason. He did tell me about driving in the USA. FYI this was in the day of COE's,no AC, no air ride anything,armstrong steering, no CB's, and if a trucker broke down at least 2 or 3 other trucks would pulled over to help.
