Alleged Nazi Guard on Trial for 27,900 Deaths

My response is dual..
On the one hand, if the perpetrators of atrocities such as this are not prosecuted, no matter WHAT their age/illness, it sends a message that these atrocities can be gotten away with.

On the other hand, when young boys are taken from their homes, and indoctrinated into immorality, and given orders to perform duties that include killing ANYONE, should the actions of their young years, in times/circumstances I can not even IMAGINE, should they be prosecuted 30-50-80 years later?

While I, personally, want to see EVERY SINGLE PERSON still alive involved in Hitlers' regime, prosecuted and convicted ....I still must keep in mind that SOME of them WERE just boys, following orders. Some of which participated with promises that if they participated, their families would be spared.

I don't think this is the case with Demjanjuk, though. No matter his frailty, today, or health, he must be tried in a court of law, for his atrocities.
