Main thing to gasp is to learn to watch the trailer wheels direction/trajectory, not the truck trailer as a whole. Steer the trailer's wheels watching where they "would" be going as you turn. If you see they are missing "the trail" you'd like them to be on, move up a bit and correct.

What everyone here is saying is correct. Don't try to do it in one shot. Don't start counting your pull ups. Focus on getting the truck in the box, not how many pull ups you used. Use your GOALs. When you pull up, give yourself enough room to readjust the trailer. Have confidence.

This was the one maneuver that intimidated me the most I practiced with a 45FT flat bed trailer and day cab truck I have experience with trailers but the space requirements can be tough when I went to take the test I opted for there single axel day cab with a small container trailer made it a breeze . If the tester has a shorter truck combination try it.
